New Kid on the Block

Yep some of you probably caught that there's yet another name added to the list of Mean Girls.

Ta da! 'tis Guen, the baby of the bunch. Me!

And when I mean "baby", I mean that my rez day is the youngest of this dysfunctional little family. Does that mean I don't have as much to contribute? Far from it. Even in my seemingly short time on Second Life, I've managed to see and experience quite a few things.

More info about me? Weeeeeeeell... I am a DJ on Second Life as well as a self-admitted fashion addict. Those who know me already have figured out that I have more sides to me than that catchy Merideth Brooks song. First and foremost, though... I prefer to be recognized for personality and passion rather than how my Avatar looks.

That being said, I'm very honored that I've been taken under the wing of some incredibly awesome and intelligent ladies whom I have aspired to since I first clicked on this blog.

Introducing...

Me!

I didn't have a fookin clue what to write by way of an introduction, whether to spiel it out into a proper formal thing, offer up a few choice words of abuse, or to merely shove in an article/post and pretend I'd been here for ages.

I asked a few friends for their opinion, suggested options included

"Hi, I'm Kitty and I'm a complete bitch"
Small Autobiography (bleaugh)
Random rambling bullshit story about things I do in SL
My CV (or resume if you prefer).

All sound suggestions but I thought I'd do it my way by telling you what you need to know.

I'm not a bitch but don't push too hard, I'm a helpless people pleaser most of the time. I do think my shit is the bollocks but I will pretend it isn't for the sake of appearances. I am an attention whore. I don't say LOL. Say what you will about me but don't piss on my friends or my fireworks. I'm boring 95% of the time. I'm as filthy as my magazine (and then some). I won't take it personally and I do swallow.

Anything else?

Attention...

You could be the next Mean Girl. After almost a year on the blogsphere we're finally opening up our blog to two more writers. Why, you ask? Well because Laylah hasn't done anything but sit on her ass with a mouth full of bon bons, Orchid has gone AWOL, and does Akasha even play SL anymore?

So if you are interested in being a writer here at MGG2SL you will need to submit a writing sample to JellyBean Madison &/or Rosie Shark covering some topics that you would obviously cover here as a writer. Just a couple rules...

1. Cannot be an alt - You have to be an established member of SLociety. (i.e people can vouch that they know you or have heard of you).
2. Must be willing to express your opinion openly, honestly & freely.
   
3. Cannot have won any modeling contracts, endorsements, etc. (hahahaha okay I stuck that in on my own)
   

You can submit your sample via notecard inworld and thanks
